I have put many IKEA items together on my own, even with the suggestion of multiple people needed. I ended up putting the adhesive on the bedframe/rail and sewing the velcro to the outside of the skirt. On another bed, I stapled the velcro to the boxspring on the welting using industrial staples–very ugly w/o the bedskirt but functional. However, I don’t know if either of these will work with an adjustable bed.
